Sept. 12/13th: Workers crossing Checkpoint 300

About 2.400 Palestinian commuters cross Checkpoint 300 between Bethlehem and Jerusalem on a daily basis.

Last weekend because of the Jewish Holiday Rosh Hashana the checkpoint was understaffed and the lines unusual slow. In the slideshow you find some impressions. Most stricking for sure are the men performing their prayers on a small piece of cardboard in the somewhat surreal checkpoint atmosphere.
